I would have thought that since you live out so far hardly anything could bother you guys. Than I remembered that sound travels quite well sometimes. We have to put up with the fake gun shots every once in a while but every day at 7am! AHH! I can see why someone went and turned it off on him if he started at 5AM! I would have taken a crowbar and sledge hammer to it. Well . . . not really. ;) I don't think anything really justifies cutting down all the trees let alone BURNING THEM ALL! The least he could have done was ask around if anyone wanted some wood, sell it to someone so they don't have to cut down as many trees or set up a sale himself. All are better alternatives than lighting it on fire and it would also satisfy any greed he may have by lining his pockets. I hope one of your neighbors calls him in for the burning permit, especially if he is not smart enough to wait for a reasonable day to do it. And on top of all this he is seems not to be concerned about the quality of the ground! I'm glad he got in trouble even if it was only small. It will get to him someday. Not yours (of course) but your neighbors. Did his scarecrow stop working? He couldn't get his hands on the sprinklers that turn on automatically when the field is invaded? Why not get a couple of dogs - any one of the hundred of the breeds that just thrive on flushing out birds? Oh my ... I really feel for you. Sincerely I'm so sorry to hear this. Of course, one logical remedy is just shoot the box - it may be that the noise will cover up the crime. I say that in jest of course.
