Root Beer

I discovered last night that it is not a good idea to drink pop (or soda for you Americans) before going to bed – not even the natural stuff like Santa Cruz Organic Root Beer. Although "evaporated cane juice" is much healthier than plain old refined white sugar, 35 grams of sugar is 35 grams of sugar when you're trying to go to sleep. Oh, and by the way, Propeller Root Beer is MUCH tastier, if you're looking for a good quality root beer made with natural ingredients – and their Ginger Beer is amazing – zippy! My daughter loves it – and it's made in Halifax!

I visited Halifax during the Skills Canada competition and out at Lundenberg we had the propeller Ginger Beer, its as you siad amazing.
I’m trying to find out if I can order it and get some sent out to Saskatchewan? We left the next day and I was not able to track done where I might inquiry.
    Any suggestions?

  2. Here is the Contact Page from the Propeller website. They would be able to tell you if you could order direct. Or maybe you could entice a local store into stocking their products!

We always called pop “soft drinks” when I was growing up. Americans called it “pop” then, at least that’s what we thought. They also ate Cheerios which weren’t available in Canada! and Tootsie Rolls.

There is some bottle ginger beer available here in La Ronge, nice little bite to it but a bit on the sweet side. It’s called Old Tyme and is made in Laval, Quebec.
